ARTIST STATEMENT.
Art is a transformative act of resistance, reclamation, and empowerment. For me, art is about redefining narratives—especially those of marginalized communities—and challenging the societal constructs that limit our understanding of identity and power. My work spans collage, photography, and filmmaking, each medium offering a distinct way to explore the complexities of the human experience. I create to spark conversation, inspire change, and elevate those whose stories have often been overlooked or reduced to stereotypes.
I believe that art should not just reflect the world but actively challenge it. It should question, provoke, and reshape the way we see each other and ourselves. Through my collages, I aim to create a space where all individuals, particularly those who have been marginalized, can see themselves as they truly are—powerful, complex, and deserving of reverence.
My practice is rooted in the belief that storytelling is a powerful tool for social transformation. Whether through visual art or film, my goal is to amplify voices that have been silenced and to create work that fosters empathy, understanding, and connection. I am committed to reshaping cultural narratives and ensuring that every story is heard, seen, and celebrated. This work is part of a larger movement—a revolution in art and society—where every voice has its rightful place.
