Danni Conner is a multidisciplinary artist, collage maker, photographer, filmmaker, and television producer whose work redefines the representation of women and marginalized communities. She blends collage, photography, and filmmaking to create pieces that challenge societal norms and amplify underrepresented voices. Her latest series, Reclaiming Black Queens, re-imagines womanhood as an embodiment of regal power, confronting the erasure of women in history and culture and elevating them to their rightful place as queens—unapologetically powerful and commanding of reverence. Danni was awarded a residency at The Swimming Hole Foundation in Upstate New York, a renowned artist retreat for creatives of all backgrounds, where she honed her craft and connected with fellow trailblazers.

Danni’s career is marked by prestigious fellowships and residencies, including Film Independent Fellow, Blackhouse Fellow, and 2021 AWD Black Directors Advancement Mentee. These accomplishments highlight her impact on the industry and commitment to fostering inclusive spaces for diverse artists. She has also participated in the Film Independent Amplifier Program and IFP/Blackhouse Producers Lab Fellowship, continuing to advocate for marginalized voices in the arts.

As a Director of Production and Operations at NBC Universal, Danni works on high-profile true crime, documentary, and limited series projects, using storytelling as a tool for social change. She collaborates with production teams and networks to bring diverse narratives to the forefront.
